In addition to recycling with the conventional up-cut method, the cold recycler can also perform the down-cut method as developed by WIRTGEN.

When using a rear loader, the mix, which was processed using the down-cut method, is transferred to an asphalt paver, which then paves it immediately.

When the paving is carried out by a cold recycler, a VGELE paving screed produces high quality, pre-compacted base layers.

The accurate spraying units enable particular flexibility when it comes to adding water, water-cement-suspension, bitumen emulsion and foamed bitumen.
