Wheel loaders 3080 - High performance and powerful
The wheel loader 3080 is a cab machine that has been tuned perfectly to the issues of medium-size to large companies. The drive via planetary axle increases torque on the wheel, thus improving shearing forces. Two different planetary axles are available for selection. The optimum ratio between shearing forces and machine performance allows working with power and economically at the same time. The Z-kinematics installed ensures that power is always optimally used when loading and unloading the bucket. In the process, the Z-kinematics create huge lifting and tearing forces in short cycle times. When being able to move and turn the machine quickly is vital, a speed increase as a 30 km/h variant is available.
High-quality powder coating
- Compared to conventional wet painting, powder coating increases corrosion protection. It thus prolongs the value preservation of the machine to a great extent. In addition, the process is based on powder recovery. Therefore, it is particularly environmentally friendly.

100 % connectible differential lock
- Compared to a self-locking differential, the switchable 100 % differential lock provides maximum traction and thrust when needed. This increases the efficiency of the machine.

Very good service access due to tiltable cab

Joystick console spring-mounted on the operator's seat

Maximum traction through articulated pendulum joint
- The articulated pendulum joint enables all four wheels to maintain traction control even on uneven terrain. This increases the productivity of the machine and gives the operator optimum control.
- The optimal ratio of articulation and swing angle ensures high traction control. This makes it easy to maneuver the machine. Even in confined spaces, there is no collision between the front and rear sections of the machine.

Inch brake pedal: Engine output where it is needed.
1. No pressure on the inch-brake pedal: Full power for the traction drive.
2. Lightly pressed inch-brake-pedal: Speed is reduced, more power to the work hydraulics.
3. Strongly pressed inch-brake-pedal: The speed is reduced further, even more power to the work hydraulics.
4. Fully pressed inch-brake-pedal: The wheel loader is stationary, full power to the work hydraulics.
- The advantages of the inch-brake-pedal: Less wear of the service brake as well as optimum power distribution of the engine output.
- The inch-brake-pedal and hydrostatic traction drive enable very sensitive work to be done with the machine.

Selectable operator's cab
- We offer a suitable selection of different driver's cabs for different applications.
- Different driver's cabs are available depending on the machine: Fixed overhead guard, folding overhead guard eps (Easy Protection System) and various cab versions.
Flexible trailer operation
- The machine can tow a trailer using the optional trailer hitch. Different systems are available depending on the machine. The maximum possible weight of the trailer depends on the model and equipment.
- For operation on public roads, the machine must be registered in Germany as a self-propelled working machine and may also only be used within specified limits. Other regulations may apply internationally; the local sales partner will provide information on this.
- The option of pulling a trailer expands the machine’s range of applications and offers more flexibility in application, as no additional towing vehicle is required.
Rear hydraulic connections
- The loader can be equipped at the back with hydro connections (single or double acting). This expands the range of applications of the machine, as rear hydraulic attachments or tipper trailers can be operated.
- The machine can be used multi-functionally for different activities. No additional vehicles or machines are required.
High Flow high-performance hydraulics
- The machine can be optionally equipped with High Flow high-performance hydraulics. This allows operating front attachments with a high oil requirement (such as a snow blower). This expands the range of applications for the machine.
Separate 4th Control circuit
- The machine can be optionally equipped with a double-acting hydraulic auxiliary control circuit. The separate 4th control circuit is operated independently and individually and allows the extended application of hydraulic attachments with multiple connections and functions.
Front and/or rear electrical connections
- The machine can be equipped with front and/or rear electrical connections. This allows electrically operated additional functions of attachments, such as a sweeping machine with water spraying mechanism, to be operated. It is also possible to switch additional functions of hydraulic attachments. The operation is comfortable via the joystick.
- The electric functions (push/lock) can be individually assigned to the joystick controls if desired.
- Electrical connections at the front and/or rear ensure that a wide range of attachments can be operated with the machine. This in turn increases the range of applications of the machine.
Pressureless return including leakage oil line
- Certain attachments with their own hydraulic motor require an unpressurized return line. The hydraulic oil flows back into the hydraulic oil tank via the oil cooler and the oil filter in a large dimensioned separate line. The advantage here is that the attachment can feed the return oil cooled and without increased stagnation pressure back into the hydraulic oil tank. This protects components of the machine and the attachment.
- The leakage oil line returns the leakage oil of the oil motor to the tank with max. 2 bar if required. This minimizes the casing pressure in the hydraulic motor of the attachment.

Comfortable Cab
- The spacious and comfortable cab meets the safety requirements of the current European Machinery Directive according to ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) and offers plenty of headroom and freedom of movement.
- The cab's full glazing and deeply recessed windows give the operator an excellent view of the attachment and the entire work area. This ensures safety, as the operator always has a clear view of the work environment.
- The interior impresses with excellent ergonomics, a generous amount of available space and many individual adjustment options for the operator. The cab offers protection from all weather conditions and thus enables the operator to work in a focused and comfortable manner.
Adjustable steering wheel
- The steering wheel can be individually adjusted to suit the operator's needs. This ensures that every operator can work with the machine in an ergonomic and focused manner.
Ergonomic Joystick
- The joystick can be held securely and comfortably. The control is, both, direct and sensitive. Thus the operator always has the machine and the most important functions under control.
- In addition to standard functions such as selecting the direction of travel and the speed level, many other functions such as the differential lock, the 3rd and 4th control circuit, High-Flow and all electric functions can be operated via the joystick. This enables comfortable one-handed operation of attachments.
- Concentrating the most important function on the joystick ensures comfortable working even over longer periods of time. This also increases overall efficiency when working with the machine.
Ergonomic cockpit
- Plenty of legroom, clearly arranged controls, comfortable operator’s seat, and optimal view of the attachment. A work area that motivates the operator and fully supports them.
- Well-tuned equipment increases the comfort for the operator. He can also work optimally with the machine for longer periods of time.
Comfortable working environment
- The efficiently designed heating and ventilation system with fan, fresh air filter and well-placed air nozzles keeps the cab in a comfortable working climate.
- The various Weidemann cab versions always have sufficient air nozzles installed. This enables good air circulation and makes the working climate pleasant for the operator.
Ventilation as required
- Depending on the version, the cab has large, wide-opening doors or windows on both sides that can be opened erect. With the divided door, the upper window pane can be opened and locked in place. Gap ventilation is also possible. This ensures fresh air in the cab, even without air conditioning, and increases comfort for the operator in warm outside temperatures.
Comfortable and ergonomic operator's seat
- The operator's seat is ergonomically shaped, well suspended and adjustable. The joystick console including armrest forms a unit with the operator's seat and is also adjustable and spring-suspended. The optional air-sprung comfort seat offers even greater comfort. A heated seat is available for cold temperatures. This increases the operator's comfort and enables them to work with the machine in a focused manner for extended periods of time.
- Depending on the model, different seats are available to match the size of the machine. The various seat adjustment options allow individual settings for the operator, providing optimum comfort.
Vibration-damped workstation
- The machine through well-designed dampers absorbs vibrations and shocks. The operator's body is very well protected, allowing longer periods of focused work with the machine.
Comfortable loading arm damping
- The loading arm shock absorber can be activated electrically and enables optimum handling of the machine in rough terrain and on the road. It is particularly recommended when the machine transports heavy loads in the bucket or on the pallet fork, or moves a heavy attachment over a long distance at high speed. The loading arm shock absorber provides a significant plus in comfort for the operator.
- Lifting arm damping prevents the machine from rocking at high travel speeds. This increases safety for the operator and protects the vehicle components by absorbing shocks.
Proportional speed limiter (slow speed device)
- With the proportional speed limiter (slow speed device), very slow travel speeds can be achieved in the first speed stage at constant engine speed. This offers an advantage when using attachments that are operated at a constant high speed but at a very low driving speed at the same time.
- The proportional speed limiter (slow speed device) enables comfortable and concentrated work with attachments such as a sweeper, hedge trimmer or mulcher, even over longer periods of time.
Manual throttle
- The manual throttle allows a constant engine speed to be set manually for optimum operation of an attachment. Continuously variable adjustment is convenient and precise via a corresponding potentiometer.
- The hand throttle ensures comfortable and concentrated work with attachments such as a sweeper, hedge trimmer or mulcher, even over longer periods of time.

- The engine bonnet can be opened with just one hand movement to carry out regular service and maintenance work. The hydraulic oil tank, air filter, engine oil filler, oil dipstick and cooling water can thus be accessed easily and quickly and the necessary maintenance work can be carried out efficiently.

Easily accessible machine components.
- Regular lubrication of all lubrication points of the machine is essential for correct and effective maintenance and thus the operational safety of the machine. The lubrication points at Weidemann are always in an easily accessible position so as to save time and make work easier.

Fully automatic central lubrication unit
- The duration of the lubrication process and the intervals can be set on the fully automatic central lubrication system. Regular re-lubrication of all lubrication points increases the operational safety of the machine.

Maintenance-friendly hydraulic hosing
- Short hydro connections are generally installed on Weidemann machines. This means that the hoses are split at several places. If a hydro connection needs to be replaced; only the affected part is replaced. This means that there is no need to replace the entire hose connection in the hydraulic circuit. Safety
Illumination of the work area
- The lighting can be adapted for different requirements: Halogen lighting, lighting according to StVZO, LED lighting and additional headlights on the driver's cab, the loader unit or the telescopic arm. This allows working with the machine adjusted to the individual, even in the dark.

Current emission standard and suitable engine

To implement this directive, Weidemann uses the latest engine technologies. These are equipped with various exhaust gas after-treatment systems.
