2017 Tramac CDB-51

These are Rock Breakers for mines and high production quarries. They are optimally configured when fitted with a hammer weighing up through 3,530 lbs. (2,520 kg). Such hammers perform in an impact class of 5,000 ft.lbs (6,780 Joules) and will readily break a 1 meter boulder with a compressive strength of 20,000 to 30,000 psi (138 210 mpa).

• Construction is more massive than Standard CDB booms. Extra-thick box sections and heavier reinforcement at stress points.

• Protection for hydraulics and cylinders: hydraulic lines routed inside boom and dipperstick, to pass through bulkhead at swing post and into boom base.

• Controls: manually activated hydraulic 4-lever controls with electric servo valve for the hammer. Optional electro-hydraulic dual joystick.

• Hydraulic power unit: modern design, heavy duty fabricated steel assembly with tank positioned above pump, includes electric motor (customer specifies voltage), coupler, pump(s), filters, oil level sight. Options available include oil cooler, tank heater, low level and high temperature warning devices.

• Automatic lubrication and centralized manual lube manifold are optionally available.
