    Description

2017 Miller Injection Toolbar 24 Row / 20 Inch Row Spacing

    Fuel the growth

With the Miller Injection Toolbar, you'll be able to fuel the growth of your crop by injecting fertilizer between the rows into the root zone where you need it when you need it most.

With a Quick-Attach equipped Nitro, you can remove the spray boom and in minutes have the Injection Toolbar installed and ready to go to the field. Take control over your crop's nutrient needs through split applications and timely injection of nitrogen immediately before the maximum uptake by the plant. Locking nitrogen into the root zone reduces the potential for leaching, volatization, and leaf burning. Mid-season injections also take some of the gamble out of nutrient applications, allowing you to adjust rates to suit growing conditions and yield potentials.

Feed Your Corn, Where It Needs It, When It Needs It Most

The Miller Injection Toolbar allows for precision application of liquid fertilizer between the corn rows, into the root zones, exactly where the corn needs it most.

A Miller Injection Toolbar allows you to fuel the growth of corn, applying liquid N just before the maximum uptake occurs. The majority of uptake occurs between the 6-8 leaf stage and tasseling. Nitrogen should be applied in 3-4 to 6-8 leaf stage to ensure it is readily available during the critical growth period to follow.

    Timing Is Critical

Feed the critical growth stage. To nurture the crop along, an injection of fertilizer from emergence to 6-8 leaf stage will assist the starter fertilizer in maximizing the ear girth. In fact, the majority of N uptake occurs between V8 and the tassel stage. Applying all of the required fertilizer pre-plant or at planting increases the risk of loss through leaching, leaving the plant in a yield-robbing state of N deficiency. Leaching is also an environmental concern, particularly for lakes, rivers, and streams, which you can minimize through properly timed injection applications.

    No Burning

Unlike broadcasting liquid or dry fertilizer, or applying NH3, soil incorporation of liquid N with a coulter into the soil will prevent burning of the crop by eliminating leaf contact, and potential vapor damage of leaves and roots from NH3.

    Minimize Loss Of Fertilizer

Ground applied liquid fertilizer is at risk of loss due to volatilization. Without a sufficient rainfall, 30% may be lost within 2 weeks of the application. Nutrients may also be tied up in surface residue.

No More Gambling - Manage Input Costs

Adjust and increase application rates if conditions are favorable. Or, in poor growing conditions, forego the cost of needlessly applying expensive fertilizer.
